108 degrees and 56757983509 million people. but beautiful all the same.
we got off the plane from Barcelona and took a taxi to the hotel. on the way we passed the Coliseum. It's kind of mind blowing.
the same day we too of to go to the Coliseum and the Forum. We went to the national museum too. all 3 things are so unbelievably beautiful but different.
ok i'll write more later because I am getting utterly annoyed by my surroundings.
Which European city/country would you like to hear most about?

Tarragonna, Espana
There's Not too much about this place. It's a pretty small town bit it's really cute. We weren't at the beach for a very long time. We ate dinner at a little place. In Spain they have these sandwiches called bocadillos I et mine with cheese only bc that's the only kind I like. Haha. Um anyway we ate then went shopping. It was a nice night all in all.
Rewind!!
Ah I totall missed the funniest part of the airplane story. ::::
So of course I didn't sleep at all. Anyway I gave up and just resorted to making faces at her (I'm sure some of you can imagine) and randomly leaned my seat forwards and backwards to get back at her. Ah revenge is sweet. After I decided that I'd had enough mind games I looked out the window to find our plane flying over new York at night. It's an amazing sight. Especially since I've never been to new York. Then for a little bit we flew over water then we hit Canada. We flew over nova scotia which was amazing a well. By this time the sun was completely gone down and I looked out my window. I was literally speechless. All I could see were stars. Thousands of stars. No light pollution or clouds it was BREATHTAKING. I kind of started crying without noticing it. It was those tears of joy and amazement at the beauty. For those of you who don't know, I have a deep fasination by the stars and the sky in general. I wish you All could see it. Also, I have NEVER seen a shooting star. Ever. I saw 3!! That means something is magical about this place, or that's how I'm interpreting it. One of them faded right next to the plane. Like really close it was so cool. I was awake through the sunrise. I'm pretty sure Elise was the only one who really conked out. I was awke when we flew over Portugal and then we took a circle around Madrid before landing.
Ok there we go now to fast forward and continue on.
So the next day we were supposed to go on a day trip to Avila however we really did not understand the train schedule so we kind of rode around on different trains for a while but it turned out to be good because we got to understand the schedule more. Then we came back to Madrid to find almost the entireeee city dressed in red for the final FIFA game. Those cool horn things were everywhereeee and car horn were honking all over the city. Like the intensity and excitement were palpable. We walked around for a while and then we each bought a jersey. About game time we went down to the square where there were like 5 GIant screens and thousands of people for like a mile so we turned around an went back to the hotel. When Spain won we went outside in the street and you could literally hear the crowd coming down the street screaming And dancing singing cheering honking horns and everything. It was so freaking cool. I have videos that will be posted on facebook eventually.

Hmm let's see. I think I lEft off at the part about the stars. I leaned forward and just stared out my window basically until we landed. It was gorgeous. So what's freaky and mind screwy is going through and entire night in 8 hours. Like we left Atlanta before dark then flew through the sunset through the dark and landed at about 9:30 Madrid time. Weird.
When we got to the metro which is the subway on Spain we couldn't figure out how to hut tickets. It was so th typical ignorant ameRican picture. Haha. Anyway we got off at this stop that was supposed to be right next to our hotel. Um no. It wad like 4 blocks away and there was another station literally outside our hotel. Bah it was horribly hot too. Hahahaha. We all settle into the one room that was ready and accidentLlu fell asleep for 2 hours. Then when I woke up I woke everyone up and we went to walk around. It was about 100 degree outside. Freaking hot. We walked to the royal palace and the cathedral. They were beautiful and it's so hard to believe that you're ctially in Europe so I feel like I kind of missed it.
Ok more later. This is getting obnoxious I just want to write everything now but I hav no time.
Xoxo

Madrid, Spain. Day 1 1/2
We got here about 9:30 am and it's already scorching outside. Let me tell you about the ride here first. We got the front row seat of our section and I even got a window seat. Perfection. However, Im pretty sure I sat in not of the demon child. See, we had those super awesome touch screen TVS on the seat in front of us with games movies and tv and everything was free. Well the girl behind me decided to play games the whole freaking time. Literally.
Gah ok I have to stop because we are heading to a square to watch the final world cup game on the big screen!! VALE ESPANA!!!!!!!!!!! :)
More to come later... Em
